Sony Screen Gems is prepping for an October 1st shoot for Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures’ Priest, according to Variety. Directed by Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Andrew Douglas, and written by Cory Goodman, the film is a Vampire Western that concerns a warrior priest who disobeys church law by teaming with a young sheriff and a priestess to track down a band of renegade vampires who have kidnapped his niece. The film is based on a manga created by Min-Woo Hyung.
