It was slated for a January 2013 release but it seems that Warner Bros. have had a change of heart and have shifted ‘Saw’ co-creator James Wan’s new horror-based project ‘The Conjuring’ to a Summer set opening. It was due to arrive in US theatres from 25 January but has since slided all the way down now to the 19 July. The movie based on Ed and Lorraine Warren, two 1950’s paranormal investigators, will now be up against the likes of Universal’s ‘R.I.P.D.’ starring Ryan Reynolds. Patrick Wilson -below (‘Insidious’), Vera Farmiga (‘Source Code’), Ron Livingston (‘Office Space’), Lili Taylor, Mackenzie Foy (‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1’), Joey King, Hayley McFarland, Joe Bishara and Shanley Caswell (‘Detention’) all star in ‘The Conjuring’ which was penned by Chad and Carey Hayes.
