What Lies South of Hell?
Recently Dread Central got an e-mail from North Carolina from a man who wore many hats on the set of a new film called South of Hell.
The film is about the making of a film about fictional murders that occurred in North Carolina by a man named Dr. Gamble. Dr. Gamble had been doing some research into some very serious computer stuff, having just developed a virus that could wipe out major corporations; he then discovered one that could open the gates of hell.
So…some bad murders occurred, including Dr. Gambles, and now some college kids want to make a film about it. After mysteriously losing their first director, they bring in a man by the name of Wayne Crawford (actually played by Wayne Crawford, producer of such films as Night of the Comet and Valley Girls) to take over the film. Together with a group of ambitious film students, they learn just how close hell really is.
South of Hell was apparently shot in the same cabin set as Cabin Fever, albeit redecorated to suit the film, and is currently looking for some distribution. They have an official site going up very soon, well let you know when its ready to go.
