GODSEND STAR JOINS ULTRAVIOLET
Cameron Bright, the young actor who plays the cloned child at the center of the upcoming GODSEND, has taken on a central role in Kurt Wimmers supernatural actioner ULTRAVIOLET, which rolls this month in Shanghai and Hong Kong. As previously reported, Milla Jovovich stars in the movie as Violet, a vampire caught up in a futuristic war between the blood-drinkers and normal humans. When shes sent on a mission to destroy a weapon that can eradicate the vampires, she finds that the weapon is actually a 9-year-old boy named Six (Bright), who carries a virus that can wipe them outand she becomes his protector instead. At the age of 11, Bright is already becoming a genre veteran; in addition to GODSEND (which opens from Lions Gate April 30), he also appeared as the youngest incarnation of the Tommy character in THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT, plays the reincarnation of Nicole Kidmans husband in the upcoming drama BIRTH and (billed as Cameron Crigger) co-starred in the Voices episode of the TV anthology NIGHT VISIONS, which was also part of the four-segment compilation movie aired on the Sci Fi Channel as SHADOW REALM.
