GORDON LEWIS RETURNS
Creature Corner reports:
‘In case you didn’t notice, and I can’t say I’d blame you since the fanfare for it was minimal, Herschell Gordon Lewis is back. Yep, the Godfather of Gore has returned to the stuff that earned him that title after years of inactivity in our beloved genre.
Of course you probably all know about Blood Feast 2, but Lewis decided not to stop with just one new movie. His next film is called Grim Fairy Tales: Win, Lose, or Die (it’s about time someone ripped of that stupid-ass game show’s title). Grim is the first in a series of new films to be produced by BloodWorks, a fledgling company looking to make horror respectable again. Or at least worth some good coin.
A few days back, Lewis told Fangoria that Grim is ‘about a TV show called TRUTH OR UH-OH!…If the contestant gets the answer right, he or she wins prize after prize. But get it wrong? Uh-oh!’
The film is currently casting in L.A. We’ll have more on Lewis’ return, which I sincerely hope gets some more attention this time around, really soon. You can get more info on Bloodworks and their upcoming projects over on their official site, and for something truly different, check this out.’
