Not since May 2009 have we bought you any news on Kristoffer Aaron Morgan’s nursing home horror tale ‘The Home’. In fact it was a cool looking teaser poster featuring a blood soaked hospital bracelet which you can check out below. Now there are reports that ‘Battle: Los Angeles’ star Michelle Rodriguez (‘Lost’, ‘Resident Evil’) may sign up to the project and join the already cast Brian Cox, Cloris Leachman, Louise Fletcher, Louis Gossett Jr., Ed Asner and Fionnula Flanagan. The Dimension Films production, being directed from a script by Eric Vespe, will begin it’s shoot in Texas. Check out what Rodriguez had to say on the subject below.
Here’s what Michelle had to say to IndieWire:
“More likely than not I’ll be doing that this summer over there, they’re getting production set up now.”
And here’s the synopsis:
“The story unfolds when a firefighter is nearly killed during a failed rescue that leaves him physically and emotionally scarred. To recuperate, he is taken to a secluded nursing home where the elderly residents appear to be suffering from delusions. But after witnessing a violent attack, he soon realizes that the screams behind the walls are caused by more than hallucinations, and the residents are being preyed upon by twisted, monstrous nightmares that lurk within the home itself.”
