The New York Post reported that genre fave Robert (ALLIGATOR) Forster is starring in THE HUNT FOR THE BTK KILLER, a CBS-TV movie currently lensing in Canada. He’s playing one of two Wichita, Kansas detectives (the other being portrayed by ER’s Michael Michele) who track down Dennis Rader (SLITHER’s Gregg Henry), the notorious murderer whose self-applied moniker stems from his penchant to “bind, torture and kill” his victims. Von Zerneck-Sertner Films, the same outfit behind the network’s SPRING BREAK SHARK ATTACK, LOCUSTS and the upcoming VAMPIRE BATS, is producing. Fango did a little more digging and found out that Stephen T. (BOOGEYMAN) Kay is directing the movie, from a script by Donald Martin and Tom Towler, and that the production is being rushed for a premiere Sunday, October 9 at 9 p.m.
