“I am active in both Japan and the United States. I am good at Samurai’s movements and actions, and I hope I can promote it in the United States by making use of it. I don’t speak English as fluently as an American actor, but instead I cherish acting with the spirit of a samurai. Rather than relying solely on lines, I would like to act while valuing the characters and their feelings. Of course, I am also practicing English. Originally, he appeared in Japanese TV series and one-shot dramas, but he had ambitions to one day challenge himself to American films. Lets take a look at some the the career of Kysuke Mukai. Beginning in 2001 with cult film, Blind Beast vs Dwarf from director, Teruo Ishii. In this film Kyosuke plays the character, Saito. While returning home after viewing an all-girls opera, dime-novel writer Monzo Kobayashi encounters a strange deformed dwarf dressed in samurai garb carrying a woman’s severed arm. Do we need to say any more… really.
Kyosuke tackled some TV projects including Kamen Rider Kabuto (2007). A man named Souji Tendo has trained his entire life to take up the name of Kamen Rider Kabuto. He attempts to accomplish his goal to destroy all the alien Worms that threaten humanity that arrived from a meteorite seven years ago.
Another is Bloody Monday(2010). A genius high school student and also a hacker uses his sophisticated hacking techniques to fights against “Bloody Monday”, the worst and most evil form of viral terrorism, in order to save his family, friends, and the entire world.
In recent years, Kyosuke has been a major player in Mahal Empire films. Attack of the Unknown (2020) A SWAT team transporting a vicious crime syndicate boss must fight their way out of a county detention center during a catastrophic alien invasion. Kyosuke co-starred with Richard Grieco and Tara Reid.
Bridge of the Doomed (2022) A group of soldiers are ordered to hold a bridge during a zombie outbreak, but what lives underneath the bridge, proves to be even more deadly. Kyosuke co-starred with Michael Pare’ and Robert LaSardo.
Night of the Tommyknockers (2022) When miners blast for gold in the 1870’s, they accidentally release ancient creatures known as Tommyknockers. The Town of Deer Creek, Nevada is soon under siege with only a handful of survivors held up in the local saloon. Kyosuke co-starred with Richard Grieco and Tom Sizemore.
Bermuda Island (2023) Passengers on their way to a tropical paradise crash at sea and find themselves on a deserted island. Desperate to survive the elements and infighting between survivors, they find that the island has more in store for them than they could ever imagine. Kyosuke co-starred with John Wells and Tom Sizemore.
