Actor Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (below), star of ‘Gangs of New York’ and Adam Sandler comedy ‘The Waterboy’, is being lined up for a role in the fourth season of AMC’s hit zombie TV show ‘The Walking Dead’. The 41-year old star, who has has made numerous appearances in TV shows in more recent years as well as appearing more recently in David Guy Levy’s horror thriller ‘Would You Rather’ alongside Brittany Snow and Jeffrey Combs, will be set to play the role of Roy Stark, a former Army medic haunted by his past. Season 4, due this coming October, will also enjoy more prominent roles for returning players Emily Kinney (Beth), Chad Coleman (Tyreese), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) and Melissa Ponzio (Karen).
