‘Stoker’ star Mia Wasikowska -below is currently in negotiations to replace cutie Emma Stone (‘Zombieland’) in Guillermo del Toro’s new haunted house project ‘Crimson Peak’. The new ‘traditional’ ghost story from the ‘Pacific Rim’ filmmaker was co-penned by Matthew Robbins and Lucinda Coxon and is set to star Charlie Hunnam (‘Sons of Anarchy’), Benedict Cumberbatch (‘Star Trek into Darkness’) and the gorgeous Jessica Chastain -below (‘Zero Dark Thirty’, ‘Mama’). As sad as it was to see Stone drop out of the project due to scheduling conflicts we think Wasikowska is still a superb replacement. Although she too has a number of upcoming projects lined up so the details still have ot be ironed out to ensure she can make herself available.
‘Crimson Peak’ is set to begin shooting in February 2014.
