Back in October we bought you news about writer/director Jon Bristol’s new horror project ‘HEAD’. And now thanks to it’s successful Kickstarter campaign the project has moved forward, finished principle photography, and is currently in post production. Of course this slasher throwback isn’t just your average run-of-the-mill stalk and slash horror as it has an added twist – the entire cast is made up of puppets. A new poster, which you can check out below, has been released with the announcement of two new premiere screenings of ‘HEAD’ heading our way this March. The movie stars the vocal talents of Sally Arlette-Garcia, Mike Finland, Nick Foreman, Manda Vasas and Ben Farley and you can “head” below to check out the new poster, teaser trailer as well as all the premiere ticket info!
Elmwood Productions invites you to join us on 28th and 29th March 2015 at Paris In Plantsville Gallery and Studio in Plantsville, CT, USA for the premiere screenings of HEAD. Each screening will be followed up with a special Q&A session with both the filmmakers and members of the cast.
Tickets go on sale from 1st February 2015 on Paris In Plantsville’s website or directly at the gallery, and are $8.00 each. The 28th March screening starts at 8:00 PM, with the 29th March screening kicking off at 7:00 PM, doors open an hour earlier on both nights.
HEAD – HORROR THE ELMWOOD WAY – is a one of a kind film starring an all puppet cast in a throwback to the slasher films of the 1970’s and 1980’s. Four twenty-somethings go for a weekend camping trip in remote New England, only to discover that the land on which they’re staying was the site of a brutal mass murder years ago.
