Fan Expo Philadelphia returns on June 2 – 4, 2023 to the Pennsylvania Convention Center with specials guests already announced, Sam Raimi (Evil Dead franchise), Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things), and Sean Astin (The Goonies).
Horror-Asylum is paying close attention to Fan Expo as they really seem to be bringing out the horror heavy weights this year. Formerly Wizard World, Fan Expo is the go to convention for everything pop culture, comic, and cosplay. Of course, we thrive on the gruesome side of pop culture.
We are looking forward to Munson-mania, as Joseph Quinn who played the heavy metal rockin’ Eddie Munson on Stranger Things will be in attendance. I have a feeling the Hellfire Club will get it’s own Philadelphia chapter come the first weekend of June.
A true master of horror, Sam Raimi, is the man behind every sick and twisted demon who ever tried to destroy Ash, Bruce Campbell… and we love him for it.
The original Goonie, Sean Astin will also be in attendance. I guess One-Eyed Willy won’t be far behind.
