Actor Craig Bierko is reportedly set to rejoin the ‘Scary Movie’ franchise for the Malcolm Lee (‘Undercover Brother’) directed sequel ‘Scary Movie 5’. Bierko (below) is set to play a character named Dan which is obviously entirely different to that of his performance of his Tom Cruise-based spoof role of Tom Ryan in 2006’s ‘Scary Movie 4’. ‘Scary Movie 3’ and 4 director David Zucker (‘Airplane’) will be back to write and produce on this fifth installment in the comedy horror series. Bierko will join the already cast Ashley Tisdale (‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’) and Erica Ash (‘MADtv’). A list of just some of the movies expected to get parodied this time around will be ‘Paranormal Activity’, ‘Black Swan’, ‘127 Hours’ and ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’.
“Three dancers — one veteran performer and two upstarts who are also best friends — vie for the lead in a new production from a snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed director.”
