The plot of the fourth installment of the ‘Mad Max’ franchise, ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, is an unknown factor at the moment. It’s still largely a secret but we do know that writer/director George Miller will likely be setting the action to take place shortly after ‘Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome’ which will be around a 26 year waiting gap for those hardcore ‘Max’ fans! And now joining Tom Hardy is none other that Elvis’ granddaughter, actress Riley Keough (below). Riley, a bikini and lingerie model who has modeled for Victoria’s Secret, will be playing one of the “Five Wives” that Max is set to protect.
The “Five Wives” are a group of women that Max has to protect against a band of ruthless criminals. And joining Riley in her sisterhood will be Zoë Kravitz, Teresa Palmer, and Adelaide Clemens. Just one more casting remains!
‘Mad Max: Fury Road’, to be released in 3D, should(!?) hit theatres sometime in 2012.
