The official website has gone on-line for TAMARA, the new vengeance-from-beyond-the-grave movie directed by Jeremy Haft from a Jeffrey (FINAL DESTINATION) Reddick screenplay. The site includes a trailer, photos, downloads, biographies of the cast (including the titular antiheroine played by Jenna Dewan) and more. Theatrical release plans for this winter are currently being finalized, and we’ll bring you the details as soon as they’re set.
Meanwhile, BlackFilm was the first to get ahold of the trailer for Dimension’s PULSE; go here to check it out. The remake of Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s supernatural thriller (which is currently in limited U.S. release) stars Kristen Bell, Steve Talley, LOST’s Ian Somerhalder and Cristina Milian and was directed by Jim Sonzero, and is due in theaters March 3. The trailer promises, not surprisingly, more malevolent ghosts than in Kurosawa’s film, a reprise of the startling jump-off-the-tower gag and, oddly, a climactic image directly lifted from the Japanese version.
