Last August we bought you a batch of new stills from the production of ‘Quarantine 2: Terminal’. The sequel to the fairly tame ‘[REC]’ remake ‘Quarantine’, that starred ‘Dexter’s Jennifer Carpenter and Jay Hernandez and was helmed by John Erick Dowdle (‘Devil’), was a rather rushed and ‘too samey’ version of it’s brilliant Spanish counterpart. This follow-up, however, has no basis on ‘[REC] 2’ (thank god!), and has completely moved the action to a terminal at LAX airport. First time director John Pogue will helm and now a new teaser trailer for the flick can be found below along with a full synopsis. The trailer is by no means an official release due to the quality but the YouTuber responsible claims it’s from a DVD, so we’d love to know which one. Mercedes Masohn (below), Josh Cooke and Bre Blair star. I’m already feeling a direct-to-dvd for this.
“QUARANTINE 2: TERMINAL picks up later that night at LAX, as passengers board a flight to Nashville. When a passenger becomes violently ill with a mysterious rabies-like virus, the plane makes an emergency landing at a large metropolitan airport. Jenny (Mercedes Masohn, CBS’s “Three Rivers”), a heroic yet inexperienced flight attendant, takes charge of the safety of her passengers. Relieved when a swarm of heavily equipped emergency vehicles, police units and the CDC arrive, Jenny and the passengers soon discover that they have been quarantined and are now trapped. Desperate to escape, Jenny enlists the help of one of the surviving passengers, a kindergarten teacher, Henry (Josh Cooke, A Fork In The Road, I Love you Man), to devise a plan to survive.”
