This April sees the return of the 2016 Salt City Horror Fest which will once more feature a host of 35mm film prints playing out on the big screen. It’s the 11th annual festival which will be hosted at the Palace Theatre in New York and for horror fans it’s a great opportunity to check out some classic genre titles on vintage 35mm. This years will include screenings of both Stanley Kubrick’s ‘The Shining’ and even an extremely rare prints of director George A. Romero’s ‘Martin’ and horror author Clive Barker’s ‘Nightbreed’. There will also be screenings of ‘Event Horizon’, ‘The Warriors’, ‘The ‘Burbs’ and ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ which includes an introduction from author Ira Levin’s son Jed.
