Apparently Rob Zombie’s out in the limelight again discussing his upcoming CD, Educated Horses with LA DJs Kevin & Bean, as well as more cool stuff he has coming up…
Over on About Horror, Staci Wilson took the time to transcribe a piece of the chat Zombie had with the morning guys, discussing a film we’ve not heard anything about in a long time; the animated Haunted World of El Superbeasto. “It’s a beautiful-looking movie,” he told them. “All these animators from studios like Disney came to work on it, and [they’re thrilled because] they get to work on something filthy. Its probably rated XXX now, but we’ll have to cut it back to an R.”
As you may be aware, El Superbeasto is based on the characters created for Zombie’s short-lived Spookshow International comic series. Zombie said he’d always planned on making it animated at first, then going back an considering a live-action approach. “Now, seeing it animated, you can’t do these things physically,” He admitted.
Zombie also said he’s working on a few different movie projects now, and that me may jump right into directing when his Horses tour is up.
