We all knew it was coming to an end but HBO’s long-running erotically charged vampire series ‘True Blood’ is finally due to kick the bucket following it’s seventh and final season. The network has announced that the airing of the final 10 episodes will begin on Sunday 22 June at 9:00pm. HBO programming head Michael Lombardo praised the show when the announcement of the final season was made last September for its defining qualities ” that has taken its many devoted fans on an unforgettable journey.” ‘True Blood’ stars Anna Paquin (‘Scream 4’), Alexander Skarsgård (‘Battleship’), Ryan Kwanten and Stephen Moyer and is based on the Sookie Stackhouse novels by bestselling author Charlaine Harris. You can check out a new season 7 teaser below.
“The series follows Sookie Stackhouse, a barmaid living in Louisiana who can read people’s minds, and how her life is turned upside down when the Vampire Bill, walks into her place of employment two years after vampires ‘came out of the coffin’ on national television.”
