FAIRY TALES GET GRIM
Like a bear that’s gotten a taste for human blood and will stop at nothing to feel human flesh on its tongue again, H.G. Lewis is attacking the horror genre with a voracious appetite from the director’s chair again.
Blood Feast 2 signalled the Godfather of Gore’s return and he’s already got a new project in the crosshairs. Lewis is now teaming up with the creative gorefreaks of Hunting for Herschell for Herschell Gordon Lewis’ Grim Fairy Tales. ‘With ‘Hunting’ we just pushed through with what we had to get the job done,’ says Michael James who produced Hunting for Herschell and will lend similar duties on Grim. ‘With GFT, we need to team up with a production company to make it happen and do it right. We have a great story and a top-notch script. GFT is definitely going to cause a few waves.’
Hunting’s Jarrod Canepa penned the Grim script to meet Herschell’s approval. The production is currently eyeing to get the film in theaters for 2005 while distribution is still being sought for Hunting for Herschell.
A website for Grim has already been set up, you can check it out HERE.
