I finally managed to see the Chiodo brothers Kult Klassic again after a
gap of many years, and have to say that it was still very wacky after all
these years.
Teen lovebirds Mike and Debbie are out necking one night at a remote
beauty spot when they see a shooting star. Debbie forcefully suggests
that they go see where it landed and Mike somewhat reluctantly agrees.
When they get there however, they find a huge circus tent and upon further
inspection, discover that the tent is full of people in candy floss
cocoons and more shockingly, the tent is full of evil, ugly, killer klowns
from outer space!!
The film is totally bonkers and hilarious, but actually contains a few
genuine creepy moments, one involving a little girl in a restaurant.
In the end the film is an enjoyable yet silly romp that never fails to
entertain with it’s unique brand of razzle dazzle horror.
OVERALL SUMMARY
Totally unlike anything you have ever seen!! I for one was pleased to
hear of the proposed sequel plans that hit the net last week, as I feel
that the advances in special effects could make the material even better.
