Vampire Lovers and Zombie Holocaust Book Giveaway

By Horror Asylum on October 22, 2010 Giveaways

Right in time for the Halloween season we have gotten ourselves our hands on some fantastic modern guide books to two of the popular sub-genres in horror – Zombies and Vampires! Gavin Baddeley’s ‘Vampire Lovers: Screen’s Seductive Creatures of the Night’ and David Flint’s ‘Zombie Holocaust: How The Living Dead Devoured Pop Culture’. And we have a copy each up for grabs for our lucky winner!

Zombie Holocaust is an illustrated history of one of our strangest and most pervasive fictional archetypes: the shambling, stalking living dead. From the mentally enslaved Haitian cane-field workers described in early 20th-century travelogues to the savagely violent, cannibalistic mobs of George A. Romero’s Night of the Living Dead and beyond, the zombie has undergone an eyepopping metamorphosis.

Vampire Lovers is a heady history of undead pin-ups who have stalked our screens and made mortal hearts race is irresistibly illustrated with more than 100 lavish photographs, examining each of the mesmerising performers who have taken on the role of leading vamp. Beginning with Twilight’ s vampire sweetheart Edward Cullen, continuing through radical characters like Kate Beckinsale’s gun-wielding, all the way through to horror legends Christopher Lee and Bela Lugosi and touching on ‘Buffy’, ‘The Lost Boys’, ‘True Blood’ and everything in between!

To be in with a chance of winning both of these great books simply answer the following question!

Writer Gavin Baddeley has also penned a novel revolving around the Jack the Ripper case exploring new theories to Jack’s identity. What was the name of the book?
    A.
     Naughty Jack: The Big Ripper
    B. Saucy Jack: The Elusive Ripper
or C. Horny Jack: The Randy Ripper
