Could this be the real thing? Could this be the official new teaser poster for John Gulager’s ‘Piranha 3DD’? With its catchy strapline “Double the Action. Double the Terror. Double the D’s” it certainly looks the part and thanks to a Bloody Disgusting tipster we can sink our teeth into it. I particularly enjoyed Alex Aja’s ‘Piranha 3D’ remake. I thought it was fun, gory and sexy – all the necessary ingredients to feed my tired Friday-night brain that still hungers for good old fashioned mindless horror thrills. I must say though it’s hottie Katrina Bowden’s -below (‘Nurse 3-D’, ‘Tucker & Dale Vs Evil’) involvement in the forthcoming sequelisation that appeals to me the most. Let’s hope she’s bikini bound. Danielle Panabaker (‘The Ward’, ‘The Crazies’), Chris Zylka (‘Shark Night 3-D’), Meagan Tandy (‘Unstoppable’), David Koechner (‘Final Destination 5’), Matt Bush, Paul James Jordan, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Hector Jimenez, Adrian Martinez, Ving Rhames, Paul Scheer, Clu Gulager, Gary Busey and Christopher Lloyd all star in the follow-up.
