Some exciting news today for fans of the almost forgotten horror franchise ‘Jeepers Creepers’. It seems STYD have picked up some exclusive news regarding “renewed movement” on the rumoured third chapter. The site managed to get hold of writer/director Victor Salva, who bought us the first two movies back in 2001 and 2003, regarding the talk and had this to say: “There may finally be some very good news for those waiting for the third Jeepers film to go before the cameras.” Nothing too official at this stage but I think that’s good enough to go on don’t you? It’s been a number of years now the filmmaker has been trying to get ‘Jeepers Creepers 3’ up and running and even coming extremely close many times to going before cameras. This new ‘rumour’ even goes as far to claim that a whole day’s shoot is already in the can!
And in case you needed a refreshers course on the original ‘Jeepers Creepers’ movie from back in 2001 which starred Justing Long (‘Drag Me to Hell’, ‘Tusk’), Justin Long, Gina Philips and Jonathan Breck as ‘The Creeper’ here’s the plot breakdown:
“On their way back home during the spring break, Darry and Patricia Jenner witness a mysterious person dumping something down a tunnel. Deciding to discover what was dumped down there, Darry discovers a huge disturbing hideout full of modified bodies. Darry and Patricia set off to get help, unaware that the individual is now aware of who has been down the tunnel. Darry and Patricia soon realizes that their pursuer is not just a mysterious person, but something even more horrifying, who has more in store than they could possibly imagine.”
