Filmmaker F. Javier Gutierrez’s new remake of ‘The Crow’ will be faithful as possible to the original comic book “even down to all the visual metaphors of trains and horses” according to author James O’Barr. Whilst speaking with Total Film O’Barr revealed that “It was his idea to go right back to the source material and essentially shoot it shot-for-shot, as in the book, but with a little more backstory for some of the characters”. British star Luke Evans (‘No One Lives’) scored the role over a heap of other actors and has already been involved in some early make-up shots which have impressed O’Barr.

The crow guides him through the land of the living, and leads him to his killers: knife thrower Tin-tin, drugetic Funboy, car buff T-Bird, and the unsophisticated Skank.
