Marlon Wayans’ spoof sequel ‘A Haunted House 2’ has got itself a new release date. Open Road Films will unleash the next installment plumb in the middle of Spring Break on 28 March 2014. Marlon will star once more and co-pen the script. He said, “I’m excited about the release date of March 28th — just in time for inebriated spring breakers to take a break from partying to laugh their asses off then get back to partying.” Production is expected to take place this coming Summer so still plenty of time to lift, borrow and blatantly rip-off many genre releases from the year under the guise of parody. ‘A Haunted House’ itself will finally land in UK theatres at the end of this month on 31 May.
