‘Moon’ and ‘Seven Psychopaths’ star Sam Rockwell (below) is the latest name being touted for a potential role on board the new ‘Poltergeist’ remake. The actor is reportedly in early talks to play the father of the piece, the part filled by Craig T. Nelson in Tobe Hooper’s 1982 original. It’s still early days so nothing concrete just yet but Rockwell would join the already assigned Rosemarie DeWitt. Gil Kenan (‘Monster House’) will shoot from a script penned by David Lindsay-Abaire (‘Oz The Great and Powerful’) and will be co-produced between Twentieth Century Fox and MGM.
