Craig Gillespie’s ‘Fright Night’ remake has scored a new trio of stills thanks to Dreamworks. The redo of the cult classic 80’s horror tale involving scares, laughs and good old fashioned vampirism stars ‘Star Trek’s Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell (‘In Bruges’), ex-‘Doctor Who’ David Tennant, Christopher Mintz-Plasse (‘Kick Ass’, ‘Superbad’), Toni Collette (‘The Sixth Sense’) and gorgeous Brit star Imogen Poots (28 Weeks Later). Four of the six feature in the new stills including a blood-thirsty looking Farrell, a concerned looking Yelchin, an odd looking Mintz-Plasse (looking more like Ted Raimi) and Imogen Poots looking smoking hot. ‘Fright Night’ is due to arrive in US theatres on 19 August 2011 and here in the UK on 2 September 2011.
