Every 24 hours at the moment seems to signify the revealing of a new ‘Pacific Rim’ image. In the past couple of days another duo of pics from the Guillermo Del Toro helmed action thriller have landed featuring what appears to be a massive clean-up session most likely during a post-creature invasion state. Charlie Hunnam (‘Sons of Anarchy’), Rinko Kikuchi (‘Assault Girls’), Ron Perlman (‘Season of the Witch’), Idris Elba (‘The Wire’), Charlie Day (‘Horrible Bosses’), Robert Kazinsky (‘Eastenders’), Clifton Collins Jr and Max Martini all star. “When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge.
