BLOODY HARVEST TO BE REAPED
Sacramento, CA-based Burning Grounds Independent Media has announced that financing has been secured for director Ryan E. Heppes horror film THE HARVEST. Set to shoot in and around Homer, IL (no SIMPSONS jokes, please) in July 2004, the movie is about a family that suffers an ancient curse placed upon them by vengeful murder victims; the results wont be pretty, as 150 gallons of blood will reportedly be used on the shoot. Heppe, a former director of development for David Foster Productions (who will co-produce the upcoming Steve Alten adaptation THE LOCH with Foster), scripted THE HARVEST with Greg Stechman and will produce with Stechman and Anthony Alfano.
