EDEN FX CREATING FOR HELLBOY

Visual effects shop Eden FX, which specializes in the design, creation and production of Computer Graphics (CG) work for all facets of the entertainment industry, has announced major projects in the areas of feature film, TV, and videogames. The announcement was made today by Eden FX co-presidents John Gross and Mark Miller.
Eden FX has been signed to design, create and produce 125 Visual Effects shots for the upcoming feature film ‘Hellboy.’ Many of theses effects shots will be incorporated into the teaser trailer promoting the film, as well as into the film itself. For ‘Hellboy,’ Eden FX will be working with the film’s director Guillermo del Toro (‘Blade 2,’ ‘Cronos,’ ‘The Devil’s Backbone,’ ‘Mimic,’) and Visual Effects Supervisor Edward Irastorza (‘Blade,’ ‘Blade II,’ ‘Cats & Dogs’, ‘Dungeons and Dragons’, and the TV series ‘Hercules’ and ‘Xena.’) Eden FX will be handling over 125 effects shots for the film, which will cover a wide variety of effects, including everything from set extensions to CG character enhancements.
Slated for an April, 2004, release by Revolution Studios, ‘Hellboy,’ based on the popular comic book by Mike Mignola, stars Ron Perlman as a demon conjured up by Nazis during World War II, who opts to serve the cause of good rather than evil.
