HELLS BEACON CASTING IN CONNECTICUT
The Connecticut-based makers of the horror/comedy TREES and its new sequel ROOT OF ALL EVIL (pictured) have announced auditions for their new fright feature HELLS BEACON. The movie will be lensed in and around Old Saybrook, CT in August 2004, and both lead and supporting parts are being cast: three male and three female roles ages 18-25, and one male and one female role ages 40-55. The auditions will take place Wednesday, June 30 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Saybrook Point Pavilion (160 College Street in Old Saybrook, next to the Dock n Dine Restaurant). This is the only audition the filmmakers are hosting, and they note that the parts will require a great amount of time and acting talentso please be prepared, and only audition if serious! Compensation will include: Low pay (sorry), free meals on set, great experience and guaranteed national and international VHS/DVD distribution to major video outlets! Preview scripts and character info will be available at the audition, with time to review. No unions please. Meanwhile, ROOT OF ALL EVIL will have its second round of screenings the second weekend of July at the Forestville Theaters (815 Pine Streetappropriately enoughin Bristol, CT).
