KENAN DIRECTS MONSTER HOUSE
Gil Kenan will make his studio directorial debut with his pitch Monster House for DreamWorks and Robert Zemeckis’ ImageMovers to produce. There is no writer yet on the project.
The film centers on the adventures of three kids who discover that a neighbor’s house is a living, breathing monster. They try to stop the house’s evil plans despite the fact that adults don’t believe their claims.
Kenan, who graduated from UCLA’s film program last year, has been receiving a lot of attention recently for his student film The Lark, a 10-minute short that combines live-action footage shot on digital video with stop-motion animation.
