SILENT HILL: THE MOVIE
Konami, the producers of the monster-fighting videogame SILENT HILL have announced that a big screen adaptation of the game is on the way to be produced by Samuel Hadida and directed by Christophe Gans. Hadida and Gans last teamed up for the epic horror adventure BROTHERHOOD OF THE WOLF, a remarkable, genre-crossing horror picture that rocked the French box office when released there two years ago. No word on who is adapting the game to the big screen, though Gans and Hadida will be overseeing the writing. SILENT HILL 3 was just released for Playstation 2 this past August. Gans, who is currently making THE ADVENTURER, will likely turn his had to SILENT HILL some time in 2004.
