Tamara Terrorizes Fango Con
Jeffrey Reddick, scriptwriter of the upcoming revenge-from-beyond-the-grave feature TAMARA, has reported in after helping unveil his killer vixen at this past weekends Fango convention in Burbank, and to share the above first peeks at the movie. I know Im a little biased, but the TAMARA panel was a blast, Reddick tells Fango. Jeremy Haft [the director], Katie Stuart [Chloe], Gil Hacohen [Patrick] and I presented a scene from the filmwhich happens to be Tamara’s first kill. Without spoiling anything, lets just say it involves an X-acto knife and a gruesome take on the old saying, See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. As the clip played, we heard shocked gasps and disturbed moans coming from the audience. This was particularly gratifying, because I know the Fango crowd has seen every manner of celluloid mayhem known to man. So to show something that actually shocked them is the highest compliment.
We talked about some of our experiences making the movie and then took questions from the audience. It was a lot of fun and really awesome to be able to interact with the fans. We all had a great time; even though this was Jeremy, Katie and Gils first Fango con, Im sure it wont be their last. Lions Gate will unleash TAMARA, in which a put-upon high-school girl is accidentally killed and then rises from the grave as a seductive killer, in the U.S.; Reddick says a fall release is planned.
