UPDATE: Fox Get Riled Up And Show Us Things Are Still Good For ‘Alien’ Prequels

In spite of numberous rumours flying around regarding various casting news for Ridley Scott’s ‘Untitled Alien Prequel #1’, including names such as Natalie Portman (‘Black Swan’), James Franco, Olivia Wilde (below) and ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’s Noomi Rapace, news is that all is still not well with the production. Its already had its fair share of issues that include budget, ratings and casting to name a few but now it appears it’s had the dreaded push back – by a whole year! Both the prequel and its intended follow-up ‘Untitled Alien Prequel #2’ have now been moved all the way to 2013 and 2014 respectively. So you may as well wave goodbye to that originally announced February 2011 shooting date.
