Coming April 25th from the increasingly cool folks at Dark Sky Films is a Del Tenney double feature; The Horror of Party Beach coupled with The Curse of the Living Corpse. If you’ve ever heard the Sloppy Second song you know how Horror goes, but for those not so enlightened, it’s the story of a bunch of kids at a swingin’ beach party who are attacked by a vicious monster born of atomic waste.
Curse of the Living Corpse has been called one of the first slasher films ever made, dealing with the greedy relatives of recently deceased Rufus Sinclair gathering at his mansion for a reading of the will. Explicit instructions are given to each, with the threat that if not followed to the very letter, Rufus will rise from the dead and kill them in the way they fear the most. You’ll never guess what happens…
Both movies come with commentary by director Del Tenney, and an interview with Tenney is featured on disc one, as well as a photo gallery and trailers.
