Haunting. At times chilling. Sometimes whimsical. If the sinister nature of Roman Polanski’s Rosemary’s Baby didn’t freak you out, you have to admit you probably carried Krzysztof Komeda’s score (complete with a lullaby by Mia Farrow) in your head for a good day after watching the 1968 classic. Albeit slightly lighter in nature, the same could be said for Komeda’s work on Fearless Vampire Killers, Polanski’s comedic entry in the bloodsucker genre.
Now the two are coming to CD (certainly not for the first time) courtesy of Harkit Records, a distributor based out of the UK. Harkit is also releasing the soundtracks for Polanski’s Cul-De-Sac and Knife in the Water.
