After a week of mini teasers for the newest installment in the modern hit horror franchise ‘Paranormal Activity’ we felt it would be more prudent to simply wait for the arrival of the official trailer. ‘Paranormal Activity 4’, from returning ‘Catfish’ co-directors Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, is typically shrouded in mystery and the newly unveiled trailer which kicks off with the usual quick rundown of the timeline to date doesn’t go overly far to help reveal any more useful details. It does however feature a cute blonde filming herself 5 years following the simultaneous incidents that took place in 2006 featured in the first two movies. The trailer also features a webcam discussion between the mystery blonde and actor Matt Shively (‘True Jackson, VP’) who is on board the project as well as a sinister little boy living next door (could this be the kidnapped child Hunter from part 2!?) The Paramount Pictures production is helmed by Schulman and Joost from a script penned by Zack Estrin (‘The River’).
‘Paranormal Activity 4’ will be unleashed on 19 October.
