New TV adaptation ‘Wayward Pines’ has scored another recognisable face set to fill a role in the new 10 part thriller series from ‘The Sixth Sense’s M. Night Shyamalan and scribe Chad Hodge. ‘Natural Born Killers’ and ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ star Juliette Lewis (below) has joined the cast of ‘Wayward Pines’ to play Beverly, “an affable, shoot-from-the-hip bartender named, who knows something ain’t right in the small town.” The new show set to air in 2014 is based on the original novel by Blake Crouch. Carla Gugino (‘Sucker Punch’), Shannyn Sossamon (‘Mistresses’), Terence Howard (‘Crash’), Toby Jones (‘Berberian Sound Studio’) and Melissa Leo (‘Red State’) are also lined up for various roles in the new series.
“Ethan Burke (Dillon) is a Secret Service agent who arrives in the bucolic town of Wayward Pines, Id., on a mission to find two missing federal agents. But instead of answers, Ethan’s investigation only turns up more questions. Each step closer to the truth takes Ethan further from the life he knew, from the husband and father he was, until he must face the terrifying reality that he may never get out of Wayward Pines alive.”
