New Line Cinema have picked up the worldwide rights to Film 360’s low-budget horror fare ‘Superstition’. The studio have acquired the new found footage Blumhouse project which comes from co-directors Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff. The movie is set in a high school and marks Film 360’s first financed full length feature project, albeit on a micro-budget. ‘Superstition’ comes complete with a cast of unknowns and is described as being in the same vein as previous horrors such as ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’.
“Superstition was special because it gives us the opportunity to work with these young filmmakers who could be the next James Wan and to be in business with Jason.” says New Line exec Carolyn Blackwood.
