Writer/director Ryan Schfrin has added additional scenes and cast to his Bigfoot horror flick ABOMINABLE. The filmmaker called back genre vet Jeffrey Combs (pictured in the movie), Rex (GHOSTS OF MARS) Linn and actress Ashley Hartman for new carnage, and hired Lance Henriksen to join in on the furry fun that lensed last weekend in Los Angeles. ABOMINABLE marks the second time Henriksen has squared over against the monster from the woods; he previously starred in SASQUATCH, a DVD rental success for Sony Pictures Home Video.
“I’m adding a new scene in which Lance and Jeffrey Combs are out camping in the woods, hunting Bigfoot,” Schfrin tells Fango. “Of course, the hunters, who also include Rex Linn’s Farmer Hoss character, soon become the hunted. I’ve wanted to work with Lance for years. He’s an incredible actor and so cool too. I’ve been a fan of his since I saw ALIENS and PUMPKINHEAD. To have him and Jeffrey Combs together in a scene is so exciting! Best of all, I’m happy to say that the shoot went really well and the footage came out great. Having Lance and Jeff together is a riot. ABOMINABLE will be completed before the American Film Market, which starts in November.”
