The lovely Nicole Kidman (‘The Others’) is prominently featured in the newly previewed trailer for Park Chan-wook’s (‘Thirst’) horror thriller ‘Stoker’. Entertainment Tonight managed to snag the early peek at the feature that’s not even due out until next March. Fox Searchlight’s ‘Stoker’ was penned by ‘Prison Break’ star Wentworth Miller and features Kidman (below) as the emotionally unstable mother of Mia Wasikowska’s (‘Alice in Wonderland’) character India. The flick co-stars Dermot Mulroney (‘Zodiac’) and Brit star Matthew Goode (‘Watchmen’). Head below for the new footage.
“After India’s (Wasikowska’s) father dies in an auto accident, her Uncle Charlie (Goode), who she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her emotionally unstable mother (Kidman). Soon after his arrival, she comes to suspect this mysterious, charming man has ulterior motives, but instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.”
‘Stoker’ will open in theatres on 1 March 2013.
