It’s certainly been a long time since Elisabeth Shue’s Oscar-nominated role in ‘Leaving Las Vegas’ and it seems like a lifetime since we’ve seen her on the big screen. Of course that all changes next month when ‘Piranha 3D’ hits theatres as Shue (below) is starring as the local Sheriff Julie Forester. And she isn’t done there. According to The Hollywood Reporter Shue has signed up for Mark Tonderai’s new horror ‘The House at the End of the Street’.
Shue will join Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thieriot. She’ll be playing Lawrence’s characters mother. Check out the plot synopsis below.
“‘The House at the End of the Street’ centers on a teen girl (Lawrence) who moves with her mom (Shue) to a new town and learns that their home is across the street from a house where a double murder took place. Complications ensue when the teen befriends the massacre’s sole surviving son (Thieriot).”
Producers are looking at a mid-July start in Ottawa, Canada.
