Tim Burton’s ‘Dark Shadows’ adaption has been given a May release date. Sadly, not this May but on 11 May 2012 the feature version of the 60’s cult TV show is now set to hit theatres across the US. Burton reunites with his ever-favourite leading man Johnny Depp (‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’) and is joined by a barrage of acting talent including Jackie Earle Haley (‘Watchmen’), Michelle Pfeiffer, Bella Heathcote, Eva Green (below), Helena Bonham Carter, Thomas McDonell and Chloe Moretz (‘Kick-Ass’, ‘Let Me In’).
“The original series of ‘Dark Shadows’, created by Dan Curtis, spawned over 1225 episodes over the years and was a highly atmospheric, spooky soap that featured gothic horror staples like vampires, monsters, witches, werewolves, ghosts and zombies.”
Holy Moly It’s Eva Green!
