When will people learn that they can’t sneak a crud film past the noses of seasoned horror fans by giving it a new title and cover art?
The abysmally titled ‘Halloween Camp 2: Scream if you wanna die faster’, is a boring tale of some graduating teens who head off to camp and encounter a masked slasher whose weapon of choice just happens to be a crossbow.
Whilst the film was occasionally easy on the eye, it was simply boring with the first one of the teens dying at around 40 minutes in!!
The cast are all relative newcomers and their performances were all hit and miss but the plot was terrible.
I knew in the opening sequence who the killer would be and I was right!! This one uses every tired cliche in the book and doesn’t put any originality into it either.
It’s pretty slick looking and has a decent score/soundtrack but for all it’s gloss it is neither scary nor entertaining. Why spend all that money on a below par story when plenty other low budget films could have been improved massively with the budget from this?
OVERALL SUMMARY
Adam & Evil truly is a rotten apple, but gets merit for its score and soundtrack.
