I stumbled across this little seen backwoods slasher last week and was mildly surprised by it.
The wonderful and much missed George ‘Buck’ (‘I hope you die and float down the gutter so I can fuckin’ piss on you’) Flower stars as Pappy Nyquist in this tale of a Viking killer called the Berserk, who mauls people whilst wearing animal skins.
The film is so 80’s its too cool. We get chick mullets, cut off tops, tiny shorts, no bras, a geek, a jock, a slut, a scared girl and a sheriff who warns the kids about drinking and driving, and an old couple mauled to death to boot!
It’s dodgy on every level with Pappy Nyquist shouting on character Josh Winters in a dodgy Nordic accent for our enjoyment (Yosh Vinters).
OVERALL SUMMARY
Fans of right old dirty 80’s slashers will enjoy – but not many others will.
