    Bloody New Year (1987)

Bloody awful may be a more suitable title for this British trash!!

A group of friends rescue an American girl from a gang of pervy carny
workers and take a boat out to a remote island to escape them (What’s
wrong with the local police station?).

Once there they take shelter in a hotel, which oddly for the middle of
July, is decorated for the New Year. Things get weirder when all of the
clothes and decorations appear to be from the ‘s.

Fun and games ensue as the teens are turned into zombie like creatures,
until only two of them are left! Will they escape and do you care? I
    didn’t!!

This actually turned out to be very different to what I had expected and
in the end it’s just a cheap rip-off of Peter Jackson’s ‘Bad Taste’.
Apparently a pilot carrying a plague, crash landed on the island just as
the islanders were celebrating New Year , and everyone on the island
    has been trapped there since.

This film is one of the worst I have ever seen, with absolutely nothing to
keep the viewer interested at all.

Surprisingly, at least two of the cast have gone on to have great careers
in UK soaps such as ‘Casualty’, ‘Emmerdale’ and ‘Hollyoaks’.

    OVERALL SUMMARY
    This film is absolutely boring!!
