    Make a Wish (2002)

I’m sure most red blooded males will be excited at the prospect of watching Sharon Ferranti’s lesbian horror film but it’s not a patch on the recent HellBent.

The premise sees Moynan King’s Susan embark on her annual birthday camping trip in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of her girlfriends, all of which are her ex lovers (implausible plot point one).

The girls quickly put me off lesbians, as they are some of the sluttiest broads I have ever seen on screen. All of them bar one is a cheat, and these bitches are blatant! Talk about pissing where you live! One character in particular locks lips with almost all of the other characters and she is the only one who has brought her current girlfriend along! This greedy bitch made me reassess the stereotype that gay men are greedy sluts.

The gore is actually quite good but the film’s stronger points are the dialogue and some of the performances.

I have to wonder why a lesbian would want to portray women of a similar sexual orientation as despicable dirty sluts. Her on screen interview which is included on the DVD shed some light on the situation, as she proudly stated words to the effect that lesbians are not feminists, as they are all as bad as men when it comes to nudity in horror movies, and with this effort I could quite believe it.

    OVERALL SUMMARY
If you’re expecting a horror version of the L Word you will most certainly be disappointed, as a bunch of middle aged lesbians cheat on each other, bicker and fight. Imagine the staff of a cosmetics store forced to go on holiday together only they enjoy pashing each other and you’ll get the jist.
