This third film in the severely underrated movie series sees officer Cordell back on the beat after he is resurrected by a voodoo priest.
When a young police woman is framed for a crime and is unable to clear her name, Cordell sets about rectifying this matter and taking her as his bride in the process.
Like the previous entries this film has a creepy atmosphere, lots of bang and bullets for its buck and some nice little creative touches as well as a clever nod to Bride of Frankenstein to look forward to.
The cast are all good here with Robert Davi and Robert Z’Dar returning, and Doug Savant turning in a particularly good performance as an insensitive prick of a doctor.
OVERALL SUMMARY
The Maniac Cop movies are unique in that you could play them back to back and they all look as though they are part of the same film, yet something is missing here; I just can’t put my finger on it!
